Tribes Are Investing in Washington

The Washington Indian Gaming Association has released a new report showing that Washington’s 29 tribal governments are powerful drivers of the state’s economy, contributing $6.6 billion in gross state product in 2020 while generating nearly 55,000 jobs across the state.

Growing tribal economies fund schools, housing programs, health clinics, environmental rehabilitation, infrastructure development, firefighting, law enforcement, and other public services for all Washingtonians — Indians and non-Indians alike.
